Senior Instructor of Rank Comparable to Associate ProfessorThe Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST) invites applications for the position of a senior instructor in Business Statistics, beginning January 1, 2012. The Department of Information Systems, Business Statistics and Operations Management (ISOM) will accept applications until the position is filled. A PhD in statistics or a related area is required. Applicants with experience in teaching in MBA programs are particularly welcome. Applicants with less experience may be considered for appointment at the rank comparable to that of an Assistant Professor. The successful applicant is expected to play an important role in teaching and developing business statistics courses for undergraduate and MBA programs of the School of Business and Management. Furthermore, the successful applicant will have opportunities to teach in various executive education programs and EMBA programs for additional income. Salary depends on qualifications/ experience and is comparable to that of an Associate Professor.
